Im gonna guess you're doing Vizuhn Square.

In that mission, the Tyrian and Chantan story line's meet. During the mission, you play with 2 teams of 8 people, the other team wont show up in your party window. 1 Party enters from Vizuhn (Local Quarter) and 1 from Vizuhn (Foreign Quarter).

Wish people would use the Q&A forum, its there for a reason >_<

Anyhow the above poster is correct, this is a missions where two teams work together (Or at least try to) in this mission.

Compared to some PUG's I've seen there I'd rather prefer henchies. I did Vizunah Foreign with 7 henchies on my side and 8 on the other and flew through it. Next day we had a full human team on the other side and they managed to get themselves wiped out.

ill take a team of henches over a team of what is usually hanging around vizunah, a swarm of assassins, anyday. there really isnt much to choose from in that mission from what i usually see anyway.

my warrior did it with henchies.

The whole way through they were having a go at me for taking henchies, they kinda shut up when we were near completing it, and not 1 of my henchies had died, (and id observed several of them die).

people like you should keep your opionoins to yourself.

The only downside to taking henchies is that they don't heal Mhenlo/Togo as often as they should...if at all.

Lol - a PvE thumper.

Vizunah Square and Unwaking Waters both consist of two teams of eight. I think Vizunah is divided in to two teams: one of which is Tyrian-born characters and the other is Canthan. Unwaking Waters is Kurzick and Luxon coming together.

Thanks for the replies.
I didnt even notice for most of the mission.

RE the taking of henchies.
I tried for a long time to play the game with PUG's and I found after a while that I prefer henchies.

Various reasons. #1 would be I dont get a lot of time to play so I dont have time to stand around getting a decent pug together because the quick pugs almost always end up being AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
I think most of you will know what Im on about...

when i tried it with my monk, i went with a pug, at the other side was another full pug, before we reached that placed half their team was dead already, and when we reached the second "fun" spot, they all got killed, and quited.

next time we got paired with a korean wammo with 7 henchies, and he didnt die at all till we got to the last part, was a complete breeze with this guy and henchies than it was with that other full group.

The assassin is an agro magnet as much as a leeroy warrior.

Taking the henchies can depend on what side you're on. If you're coming from the Tyrian side it's easier to hench than from the Canthan side. If you hench from the Canthan side then you need to be able to heal Togo.

I've done that missions several times taking Tyrian characters over. There are a lot of people who think they can hench it from the other end. We usually end up sending a healing deep in to heal Togo until the rest of the group fights their way there. Terra Xin was closer to the mark and shouldn't be flamed for making a fairly prudent observation. Let's better qualify it: Most people shouldn't hench it, especially from the Canthan side.

Maybe henching it should be left to the L33Ters. Anecdotal arguments like "I henched it ju NOOB" doesn't really make a good argument. That mission has some really nasty swarms at a couple points and can easily fail. Filling in the gaps with a few of the henches isn't a bad idea, but to make it sound like henching that mission is trivial is definitely overstated.

This is all part of anets new and exciting way to make you loses missions through no fault of your own.

I failed this mission with 7 henches 4 times because the other team kept having mhenlo die, I finally beat it when I did it at 4am and got all henches on the other side.

kept mhenlo dieing? once both team joins its the responsabilitie of the two teams to keep them both alive. but if mhenlo dies before joining with togo just makes me wonder if they were actually players, because tyrian first part is very easy.

question, what happens if you, as a canthan born character, go full henchies on your team, and the other team is full henchies, would you see the tyrian henchies come to your side or what?

first time i played that mission with my wammo from tyria there were henchies protecting togo, but they were lvl 12, so half of that henchie team would die once i reached them.

i would pick the monk, professor (spirit henchman), ilusion henchman, vile henchman, earth henchmen, shock henchman, talon silverwing, thats my usual hench team at cantha.
